Climate Positive Design Taking Action

Until humanity starts treating people equally, the foreseen impacts of climate change will remain insurmountable. All must support communities of color and we must fight for basic human rights and unite globally to prevent disproportionate climate impacts to under-served communities. Climate Positive Design supports social equity by providing unrestricted access to tools, resources and guidance. Everyone should have an equal chance at life and at making a difference in this crazy world we live in.

Climate Positive Design in Action | Alameda DePave Park Project

In development of the Vision Plan for Alameda Point DePave Park, CMG Landscape Architecture applied Climate Positive Design to improve the project's carbon impact.
The existing site will take 331 years to offset its carbon footprint. The new design will take 4 years to offset its carbon emission and will remediate the previous land use in 23 years.
