We are truly proud of our global community for showing up and taking the Climate Positive Design Challenge. The collective impact of 1,486 logged projects in the first year since launch will plant 777,657 trees, sequestering 1.6 million metric tons of carbon dioxide beyond project emissions in the next 10 years!
With this knowledge and data, we have the opportunity to change the status quo through design, educating communities and colleagues, and advocating for climate action alongside global leadership.
This work is critical to supporting the Paris Agreement goal limiting global warming below 1.5°C in the next decade, preventing the current 3.2°C temperature increase trajectory that the UNEP reported just this week.
Join us today by measuring your project’s performance in the free Pathfinder app and utilizing the Climate Positive Design guidance and resources.
There’s still a chance to ensure the future of our planet for the next generation, but we must make drastic changes, and the time is now. Let’s be leaders in this cause and take action together!
